A Great Game - Terranigma (SNES)
« on: April 18, 2008, 09:40:34 am »
Terranigma, whose japanese or chinese name means "The Creation of the World", is one of the greatest A-RPGs without doubt.

I'm willing to map it, but nearly half of its maps were already done in VGMaps, which were all "no-battle" scenes. No one has mapped all the "dungeon" scenes?

Another question is:

http://www.fantasyanime.com/legacy/terran_maps.htm

This website shows the whole world map. While playing, the world scene is in 3D display pattern.  Who knows how to map it out?

One possible option would be to use this program. You ca use the SceneViewer to extract the Mode 7 Background from a savestate. Keep in mind that it will only show the portion of the map currently loaded in VRAM.

Well the towns easier cause they is mostly Rectangles.

Dungeons have many Rooms and many Levels. it would need mutiple maps.

Louran (with Zombies) is an exceptions. But would take much time. Also it would need multiple maps.

I thank you for the Terranigma Site and Overworld Map. :)

I'll have to remember to grab that this week.  I'm not the best at seeing submissions via the forums, apparently.

Well, xyzbilliu's Terranigma maps are up now.  I hope you don't mind, I renamed them to the English names according to the walkthrough at the Terranigma Shrine @ RPGClassics.  But I didn't take the time to figure out where they go within all the other maps, so these are all listed at the bottom...

If anyone knows the proper listing of all the Terranigma maps, I'd be happy to work off of a simple list.
