As always I wish I had your skills.  This must have taken a while.  I can post this with the rest of your stuff on vgmapper right?

I'm working on the dungeons (and some specific overworld areas), and I figured I would take on the challenge of making the entire overworld map. Took about a few weeks to put it all together. Now I'm working on the Dark World stuff. ^_^

And sure, go ahead and post it with the rest of my stuff, if you don't mind it not being labelled. :)

There's always a certain charm in seeing handcrafted maps as opposed to just straight screenshot rips. Very nice job.

Speaking of the rest of your stuff, *looks at GameFAQs*, how did I miss so much.  I'll get all the missing up maps up as soon as possible.

I must admit that I've never been fond of your maps before Star Fighters76, although that has more to do with my compulsion for pixel accurate maps, perfect proportions and generally a problem with anything that isn't perfectly "square". But I really like this one, as it manages to convey all the important geographical information from the original map in the form of a colourful schematic.

I've been trying (and failing) to make simplified maps for the first Portal game in a similar style and I haven't completed a single one so far because I want them to look perfect and what I'm capable of drawing by hand is just so far from being so.

Can't wait to see the Dark World :)

brilliant diagram! it's accurate enough so that the thumbnail looks like a neon version of the real map.

Since you do mostly line drawings, have you considered using Inkscape and making your maps in vector first, then exporting them to raster?  They'd look smoother, and you could make the final output any size.  Would also be easier to edit mistakes.
