Re-discovering all these childhood memories from a new perspective is just amazing and inspiring. As I probably mentioned in our email conversation, these are indeed very impressive.  The limited palette is a sharp design choice.  I can imagine a Metroidvania-style game within those... flying cities?  Definitely cool.
