The problem is, someone would have to map it and then offer those maps to the site. I remember the site you're talking about, and I'm not sure it's even online anymore. Those maps were extracted using SonEd, a sonic level editor and those maps were hosted on a site called the Sonic Stuff Research Group (or something similiar).
That site went offline several years ago thanks unfortunately to internet politics between sites and things like that and all I found afterward were heavily compressed and reduced versions of those maps. That sucks since the Sonic CD maps were really cool-looking. I wonder if someone, somewhere still has them...
