2003 – March |
Site News: March 31, 2003 – 20:22:57 MST – That took too long… – posted by JonLeung![]() Pokémaniacs had better appreciate this…it took me almost the entire day, but I finally got around to sorting, organizing, and uploading the Pokémon Ruby/Sapphire maps contributed by Jaromaru. How is this newsworthy? Well, it’s easily the biggest update I’ve ever done…(a whopping 146 maps!) Yet at the same time I still think we need even more maps…anyone else want to contribute?Site News: March 17, 2003 – 19:47:15 MST – VIDEOS FOREVER! – posted by JonLeung![]() The Super Smash Bros. Melee – Special Movie 2 and the Eternal Darkness - Music Video now finally have a permanent home. If you have a FilePlanet ID then you can access our videos. If not, don’t worry, signing up is free. No more having to download at certain times of the day, and no more of us worrying about bandwidth. So if for some reason you still haven’t seen them, go to the Special Stuff section and follow the links to where you can get ‘em.Site News: March 15, 2003 – 11:03:21 MST – Planet Zelda! – posted by JonLeung![]() I like affiliates. And I like Zelda. Oooh, Planet Zelda is an affiliate that has stuff about Zelda… How can I say no to that?Site News: March 11, 2003 – 21:01:43 MST – 25 000th Hit! NES Games in Animal Crossing! – posted by JonLeung![]() We got our 25 000th hit today! Another milestone reached! Also today, I got my Memory Card 59 back from marioxb. You may have heard about him if you frequent the GameFAQs Animal Crossing boards. Using his crazy hacking skills, he’s unlocked the unreleased NES games in Animal Crossing (Ice Climber, Punch-Out!!, Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros., and Legend of Zelda). He can put all this and other Nintendo-based items on your memory card if you send it to him. Check out the info about it all right here. Pretty cool stuff. It’s good to know that people are still willing to do good deeds (for free). Thanks again, marioxb!(I’m currently playing the original Legend of Zelda again, and right after finishing Master Quest. Wind Waker is coming out soon. Link is also a hidden character in Soul Calibur II, coming out soon too. Looks like there’s no shortage of Link action in the coming months!) Anyway, while playing Legend Of Zelda, I was thinking about how it would be cool to have the games that are (and aren’t but should be) in the NES Game Atlas (the very first Nintendo Power Player’s Guide) to be mapped out. I’ll soon mention this request in the forum. |
